2nd Wednesday: Create a Critter 2

This month I decided to do some projects using the Create a Critter 2 cartridge.  I started off making some cards, and then I needed to dress up a gift bag for a party.  I threw in at the end cutting out cookie dough with the shadow shapes.  CLICK HERE  to see the You Tube video of the projects.

This cartridge is fun to use, and just like the first Create a Critter cartridge you can use some of the Peachy Keen face stamps to add a different look to your critters.

Silhouette Thursday #3: Using My Sketch Pens

Hey Crafty People!  Can you believe that it's DECEMBER already?  Yikes!!!  I have to finish up my Christmas Cards.  Good thing I started a little earlier this year.  Since it's the first Thursday in December it's time for my Silhouette Thursday video.  I am trying to keep my self organized (okay, okay, I'm trying to organize . . .it's a never ending process) so I decided that I needed to do some labels for my craft bins, boxes and baskets.  Instead of writing out the labels by hand I figured that I would use my sketch pens to make them all pretty. CLICK HERE to see the video.

Remember there are specific sketch design in the silhouette store, but you an pretty much sketch whatever you can cut.  If you don't already  know Silhouette is having a sale on their designs in the online store.  50% percent off, it ends on the 8th of this month.  You still have a few days to pick up the designs and fonts that have been on your wish list.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Gobble, Gobble Crafters!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday.

Here's some crafting FYI about sales:

Silhouette America is having a 50% off sale on all of their designs on the online store. And they are selling their accessories and supplies at 40% and free shipping once you spend $25.00 or more. The discount promo code is HOLIDAY.  Don't worry they have the code listed on their website.

Circut is also having a doorbuster sale on their website.  I thinks they are doing different sales for different days.  I got an email that indicated that for today the Disney Cartridges, physical and digital are on sale.

Since I use those two machines a lot, I thought I pass along the info.

Using a Card base to make a Notepad

Hello Crafter's!  As promised from here is the video showing how I used the card base from Wild Card 2 to make a notepad.  For this project, I had to bust out my YourStory machine to bind the book.  I do talk a little about using your glue gun and the YourStory to bind your homemade book.  But for this project, I used the glue strips that were made for the YourStory machine.

Silhouette Thursday #2 : Using your Silhouette to Fussy Cut around your Clear Acrylic Stamps

It's the first Thursday in November, so you know it's time for the Silhouette Thursday video.  Well for this months video, we looked at the trace and offset feature of the Silhouette Studio Design Software.  The video does an overview, of how you can use those features with the acrylic stamps you have in your collection.  CLICK HERE to see the video.

No time for the video right now, let me give you a written rundown.

There are times when you decide that you want to cut close around a stamped image (fussy cutting) you are using in your project.  How about we avoid using our scissors, and bust out our Silhouette machine. Pick your stamp, fire up your scanner and let's get started.
The first thing you want to do is stamp your image, and then scan it into your computer.  I saved my scanned file in as a .jpeg.  Now open up Silhouette Studio application and open your scanned file onto the mat.  Next your going to select the trace feature, and trace around your image.  Get as close to the image as possible.  Select the trace edge option, and you can now pull away the outline of your stamped image. Your almost done, but now you need to select the offset option, and create the amount of distance your want to be around your image.  When you get the distance that suits you, select apply, now you can pull away the offset outline away from your trace image.  Now copy that offset image as many times as you want and cut the image out as you would normally.

What you now have is a perfectly die-cut shape, take your stamp, and stamp away.

Silhouette Cameo Project - Halloween

Alas, October is at a close.  Nope, I didn't get dressed up in a costume.  But I did make a take some candy sign for a friend to post at their house for all those kids that would stop by while they were out.
The signed is made using my Silhouette Cameo.  I actually took a card design (Design ID #50104 ) and then selected the knife tool, and cut just below the perforated line.  I then enlarged the bottom half of the card to the size I wanted.  I used the LD Frightmares Font (of course I can't find the design #), if I remember where the font came from I will update the post and let you know.  I took a little bit of glitter and a red stamp pad and went to work.  I also added some wiggly eyes that I had in my embellishment stash.

ETCHING CREAM

I kept seeing projects using etching cream and I really wanted to try my hand at glass etching.  So I went looking for the brand that I saw people using, but I could not find it in the store.  In fact a lot of the big box stores did not appear to sell etching cream.  Well I looked online, and the cost of the cream plus the shipping seemed a little much, given the size of the bottle (2 - 3 ounces).
Then I was walking through Michael's and you guessed it, I saw etching cream.  The one I found was made by Martha Stewart, came in an 5 + ounce bottle and had a little brush to use.  I was able to use a coupon so the price for the size turned out to be really good.
Now there are a bunch of stencils you can buy, but I have die cutting machines and vinyl. You can click here and watch the video for the doing this glass which I used the Winter Wonderland Cricut Cartridge for the shape.

Here is also a picture of my first attempt at etching, for this one cutout I used the Silhouette Cameo ( I give love to both my machines)

I think some folks are going to get gifts this holiday season that have some personalized etching.

SVG Instruction Sheets

Since getting the Silhouette Cameo, I have found myself bouncing around different sites, that say free SVG files.  There are a lot of people out there that are willing to share what they have designed.  I thought today I would talk briefly about one site in particular which is Miss Kate Cuttables . Now the name may seem familiar to you since their designs are also for sale at the Silhouette Store.  Now I've bought their designs from both the Silhouette Store and directly from the website.  However, there is a difference in what you receive when buying the files from one or the other.

At the Silhouette Store you get the cut already in the studio format, which means that you don't need to upgrade to the Designer Edition in order to use the file.  Upon purchase it will automatically be loaded in to you image library within the Design Studio Software.

When you buy the design from the website, you get the file in a couple of different formats to use (SVG, JPG & PNG).  Plus you get a PDF file that gives you instructions on how to layer the image once cut.  I absolutely love the instruction sheet.  This might be because I'm use to looking at the image in color and broken in to sections from using my Cricut handbooks.  As you saw from the video posted last time.  In order not to loss my way with the piece I try to color code them so I figure out what goes where and not to waste paper.  The files bought from the website are already colored filled matching the colors on the instruction sheet. You can of course change the colors if you are utilizing the print and cut feature with the machine.

Some things to remember when using SVG files.  You'll need to upgrade to the Designer Edition in order to use them.  Your file will be stored on your hard drive so make a folder so they are easier to find, but know that you can also import the file to your Design Studio library.  Also, you will need to switch the lines to cut lines since when you open them in the software the lines are set at no cut.

I'm know that there are a bunch of sites that have cutfiles for free and purchase.  I haven't stumbled into one that has an instruction sheet attached, otherwise I would be talking about them too.  So if you know of other sites that include instruction sheets with their downloads, leave me a comment telling me where, I would love to check it out.

In the remaining weeks of the month, I will try to post some photographs of other projects (mostly cards), that I made using this cartridge.

Silhouette Thursday Episode 1: Quick Tip

Welcome to the first Silhouette Thursday.  I decided to start off with a video, which you will find below or on our YouTube channel.  I'm going to apologize for the sound of the video.  I tried out  new software and didn't realize that I needed to speak a little bit louder.

Anyway, this quick tip is just something that I find helps me organize the pieces of my cut file on my mat, and helps me not to waste paper.  I know your thinking well what's the tip.  I'll give you a hint, you'll be using the spilled paint bucket icon to help sort out the pieces of your cut file.  Click on the video below to see what I mean.

If you have any questions, comments or thoughts we'd love to hear from you so leave us a comment.

We R Memory Keepers Gift Bag Punch Board is HERE!

Hello my crafty friends! I was able to get my hands on the We R  Memory Keepers Gift Bag Punch Board before it sold out on HSN.  It arrived yesterday in the mail after I got home from work.  I will admit, that the first bag I attempted didn't come out exactly correct, but that's because I was not paying attention.  Once I read the instructions (yes they are printed right on the board), it was so easy to make the bag.

The Punch Board let's you make three different widths of bags 2.625", 3.125", and 3.625".  They have them labeled small, medium and large.  The length of your bag is up to you.  Although much like the Envelope Punch Board depending on the length, you will run off the board when making your score lines.
This board also has a punch that allows you to create holes, so that you can thread ribbon, twine or paper through it.
Check out our YouTube channel later today, and there will be a video up showing how to use the punch board.  As soon as it uploads I will update the post to add the link.  But for now here are two pictures of the bags I made.

Decorate with Designer papers and some die-cuts (used Martha Stewart Cake Seasonal Cartridge )to make a cute treat bag for a party.

Make a coordinating gift bag to match your card.

The possibilities are endless.

SEPTEMBER IS HERE AND ALMOST GONE

Hey Crafty friends, alas the summer has come to a close.  And darn it all, I was not able to use all of my Cricut Cartridges :-(, so I didn't complete my self-imposed challenge.  I blame it on the Silhouette Cameo, which has been really fun to use.  But the Cameo doesn't take the full blame.  Work was very busy, and I lost a little bit of my crafting mojo.

Never fear, I am back and ready to craft. Next month check out here and or our YouTube channel.  You will start to see a  Cricut Wednesday, and a Silhouette Thursday video at least once a month.

For Cricut Wednesday, there will be a video once a month featuring one particular cartridge and the use of it in a project or projects.   This is not to say that there won't be other videos.  But I will post here what cartridge I'll be featuring.  I am still deciding if the video will post on the first or second Wednesday of the month.  So check back on Wednesday this week to see when it will start in October.

Silhouette Thursday, will mainly feature my trials, tribulations, joys and triumphs as I continue to learn how to use my Silhouette Cameo.  Some Thursdays will be videos and some will be just a post.  Silhouette Thursday will be done twice a month on the first and third Thursday.

Also keep an eye out for post dealing with our other crafty adventures of Crocheting, Cake Decorating and more.

Get Well Soon Card

I decided to add an unconventional element to this card, by using what every person who has a cold uses. Yup you guessed it, TISSUE.  I colored the image awhile ago using Bic Markers, Spectrum Noir Markers, and I might have even used Copic Markers for the skin.  It's been so long though I couldn't tell you which markers I used.
The digital image is from Fine Arts by Robert Jackson.  The sentiment below the image was created using the Silhouette Cameo and Silhouette's Sketch Pens.  I used a hot glue gun to secure the tissue down on a piece of white cardstock.  I then used pop-dots to adhere the image to the tissue.

The inside of the card is stamped from a set that I purchased sometime ago, and I'm still looking to see if I can find the backing.  If I find it I'll update the post with that information.

Another Thank You card

This is the second thank you card this month.  It has become apparent that I know a lot of people that need to thank others.  So here is the card, thanking someone for a cruise.

For this card I used two Cricut Cartridges, Best of 2007 for the boat and Wild Card 2 for the card shape. The paper used was Recollections Signature Lumiere paper pack, and some Colorbok pastel (shiny) paper, the other paper used for the images are from my paper stash.  Wild Card 2 was also used for the envelope as well.  I can only mark one more cartridge off the list since I used Wild Card 2 before.

Thank You Card

The request for this thank you card allowed me to cross off three more Cricut Cartridges from my Cricut Cartridge Challenge.  I can't believe it's July already.  I really need to get moving, seeing as I have a lot more cartridge to try and get through.  Anyway the request for this card was made because the dogs got a gift of a dog stroller and the owner just wanted to say thanks.

I used the Ashlyn's Alphabet Cartridge for the "thank you" in different languages.  The Best of 2006 Cartridge for the dog shapes and The Wrap it Up Cartridge for the stroller cut.  The pattered paper came from g.c.d "Animal Fanatic" paper pack, and the words were cut from DCWV's The Metallic Stack.  The bling and other paper are from my stash.

SPECTRUM NOIR REFILL INK AT JOANN.COM

Hey Crafter's, Happy Fourth of July!  I wanted to do a quick post letting you know some info about Spectrum Noir Markers and Joann.com.  I was just browsing the web and checked out Joann.com and what did my little eyes spy????
Okay yeah I told you in the title.  Joann.com is now selling the refills for Spectrum Noir Markers, the real bonus, is that they are 50% off this week.  SAY YOU WHAAATTT!!!  So that makes the 30ml bottles $2.97 and if you order online today, shipping is only $0.04 with the code NGZP185.  So if you've been using your markers and your nibs are starting to get dry, you should check out the sale.  Just so you know when I did a check there were a few that are already out of stock.

I know, I'm an enabler, but I'll happily take the title today.

Single Photo Layout

I really need to get moving on my Cartridge Challenge.  But after today's postings I will be able to mark off  four (4) more cartridges.  I was asked to do a layout for a single photo of three friends that was found from several years back.  I made it really simple.  I used some Rub-on's that I got from Big Lots, bling that I had in my stash, and the Cricut Cartridges Art Deco (lettering), Forever Young and Paper Dolls Teen Scene (silhouettes).  And yes, I inked the ends of the paper with gentle strokes of the ink pad.

GRADUATION CARD AND DECORATIONS

Graduation season is finally over in my family.  But I wanted to share with you the Card I made using the Silhouette Cameo, and the graduation cap decorations.

I was looking through the CardMaker Magazine and found instructions on how to make a slider card.  But I didn't want to have to cut the template over and over again by hand, every time I wanted to make that type of card.  That's where my Silhouette Cameo stepped up and it easy.  I made a cut file using the Silhouette Studio software to make the sliding mechanism.

The graduation bear on top of the card, is a cut file I purchased from the Silhouette Store (Design ID #42817).
The Card opens up so that you can leave a sentiment or hand written message on the inside.

Now for the cap decorations I used the my Cricut Create (which traveled very well as carry-on luggage).  The Best of 2008 was used for the Soccer themed hat.  Cricut Craft Room Basic (digital) was used for the lettering on the other hat.

GRADUATION TIME!!!

Hey Crafters,  I know it has been awhile, since I last posted here on the blog or the YouTube channel.  Life has been busy with work and you guessed by the title Graduation Time. I made a couple of cards for my nephews and I figured I would share them with you.
This will also mark off at least three more cartridge from my self-imposed Cricut Cartridge Challenge.  The end of summer is going to be on us soon, so I need to get moving.  Lucky for me I got some requests for  layouts and thank you cards.  Those projects should help me marked off some more cartridges.  So keep your finger crossed and check back to see if I make the deadline.

For these two cards I used Paper Dolls Teen Scene, and some K & Company stickers that I found on clearance at one of the craft stores.

The watermark background was made with a stamp and some clear embossing powder.  The Class of 2013 ribbon is by Simplicity.

For this card below I used the Everyday Paper Dolls & Phrases Cartridges.  And since the class of 2013 is only this year,  I used the ribbon from Simplicity again.  I stamped the face with a Peachy Keen Everyday face, from the assortment set.

Simple Happy Birthday Card

It's May already! Can you believe it?  Well I am running out of time to complete my self-imposed challenge.  So today's card uses the Cricut Cartridge Simple Cards, Best of 2009 and Create a Critter.  The patterned paper is from Teresa Collins I'm almost certain it's from her Celebrate Collection, but not sure.

From Simple Cards I used Card 38, the red balloons are cuts from Create a Critter and Best of 2009.

The balloons are cut separately and I welded together one using an image from each cartridge.  I used the Criuct Craftroom to do the welding.  I then stamped the cuts with a Ditto wooden stamp entitled "Double Lines".  Next I embossed them with my Cuttlebug.  I can't remember the name of the folder although I want to say it's Tiny Bubbles.  The background paper is just a piece of black scrap paper, and I used some white chalk ink to fill in around most of the cut outs.  Of course pop dots were used to give the balloons a little lift off the page.  That's three more cartridge off the list.
Just for those of you who may have read my previous post.  I didn't forget about the Silhouette Cameo video, it's just that it was a little longer than expected and I have to edit it one more time.
Check back later this week to see if I can use a couple more Cartridges, since summer will be here before you know it.

Administrative Assistant Day Card

The 24th of April is Administrative Assistant Day.  Since, I was in charge of getting the gift, I decided to make the card that goes along with it.  This is a simple 5 x 7 card, and it allowed me to cross off  using another cartridge (see Cricut Challenge post).  For this card, I pulled out my Sentimental Cricut Cartridge for the image.  For her dress, I gave it a little dimension by using the Divine Swirl Cuttlebug folder and some ink swiped across the top of the impression.  For the red layer, I again used the Cuttlebug, but this time used the Anna Griffin Poppy Cuttlebug folder.

For the sentiments inside and out, I used the Silhouette Cameo.

Yes you read right , I wrote Silhouette Cameo.  I will have a YouTube video up later this week, showing from the opening of the box to the first cut (with a little editing).  I will also be posting here this weekend my general impressions and overview of the Cameo versus the Expression 2.
So don't forget to check back later this week.

GYPSY LINKING IS HERE!

For those of you who have a Gypsy, and have been waiting for the linking feature to work.  Wait no longer.  Cricut has just released an update to Cricut Sync, Cricut Craft Room (CCR) and their Gypsy.  Now all of those cartridges that you had linked to your Gypsy can now be linked to CCR.

I don't have a lot of cartridges, but most of the ones I bought before CCR were linked to my Gypsy.  So I am happy that I now can have those linked.

I did the update and so far so good.  Last night I was able to cut with CCR from a cartridge I linked through my Gypsy.  I was worried that my Gypsy would not play with my E2 or Create after the update.  So I plugged it into both and cut an image and they all played together just fine.  Click here for the Cricut Instructions on Gypsy Linking .  Note you will need to update your Cricut Sync, CCR and Gypsy before you will be able to use the Sync or Gypsy Link feature through CCR.

Making Sky Background Paper

Hey everyone! I was watching some videos on YouTube and came across this great technique for making a sky with clouds for background paper.  Stamp TV is a great YouTube channel with tips and tutorials for putting together great cards.  CLICK HERE to check out the video where I saw the technique.

After watching the video I knew I had to try it out.  I took out my Megan Elizabeth All Around Nesting Dies, Brilliance Pearlescent Sky Blue Ink, and my Everyday Pop-Up Card Cricut Cartridge.  I used pieces of scrap paper and a Cloud 9 stamp for my inside sentiment.  I don't know where the ribbon came from, but I think it was one from the dollar bins at the craft store.

Here's a look at the finished Card

With this card we have knocked off another cartridge, and we are still heading towards using all of those cartridges by summers end.  I've gotten a little distracted because of a new crafting toy which you will hear about soon.  So check back to find out what the new toy is.

Easter & Spring Cards . . . the Challenge Continues

Hey Crafters!  First of all thanks for checking out our blog.  We hope that you like what you see, and are inspired to do some crafting of your own.

Okay,  I am still working on making the most of my Cricut Cartridges.  Since Easter is so close I figured I needed to do some Easter/Spring Cards.  (Hopefully, I'll make it to the post office in a timely fashion).  So for this card making session, I used the Martha Stewart Cake - Seasonal Cartridge, French Manor Cartridge and Tinkerbell & Friends Cartridge, that's three cartridges used.
This first card includes the bunny rabbit and the Happy Easter phrase from the Martha Stewart Cake Seasonal Cartridge.  The pattern paper is from a Recollections paper pack, but I'm not sure of the name. All other paper is from my paper stash.

This next card is using the same Martha Stewart Seasonal cartridge.  From the bunnies to the grass, all the images are from that same cartridge.  I just used the Cricut Craft room to re-size the bunnies and then fold down the middle.  Also I used a cuttlebug folder to give the bunnies some texture.

This is the last card using the Martha Stewart Seasonal Cartridge.  The sentiment is from a My Creative Time Stamp Set called Color Me Happy.

We used the French Manor cartridge again.  But I never said that repeats were not allowed.  It will just take me longer to get through my cartridges.  The stamped sentiment "Jesus Lives" is from a Inkadinkadoo stamp set. Card size is 3" x 4 1/2".

Who said using the same cut couldn't look different.  This is a standard A2 size card, we added the embossed wave/chevron piece on the side, and used a different sentiment from the Creative Time Stamp Set.

I just received the Tinkerbell & Friends cartridge.  Man oh Man does this cartridge requires a lot of layering with small pieces.  I will be making more stuff with this cartridge, I just need to mentally prepare myself for small pieces. The sticker sentiment came from my embellishment stash (pretty sure I got it on clearance at Joann's awhile back).

Well, since we can't count French Manor again, we will cross of two more Cartridges from our challenge list.    Leave a comment telling us what you think of our craft projects or ask a question about anything you've seen.

Thanks for stopping by and

CRICUT CARTRIDGE CHALLENGE

You read right.  I am declaring a Cricut Cartridge Challenge . . . on myself.  You see, I was trying to decide what I wanted to do with a layout.  Imagine my surprise when I realized that I had a fair amount of cartridges to look through.
Now I know that I am not in the same class as many when it comes to the number of cartridges.  But I have not even hit my 2 year mark with my circut machines.  To my surprise, I have 52 cartridges (47 physical and 5 digital).  I'm not saying that I don't make stuff and use the cartridges.  However, there are a few of them that I've looked through the booklets and not cut a thing.
So here's my challenge.  I going to list out all of my cartridges, and by summers end have used all of them in some type of crafting project.   I'm not even going to cheat and count the projects I've done last year.  So, join me in using those cartridges you have.  Leave a comment regarding the projects you see posted here, and let me know where I can see your projects.  Let's inspire each other to use our craftiness to bring smiles to others, instead of dust bunnies on our machines.
Starting things off, I have two new cards that are spring and Easter themed.  I used the Nursery Rhymes, French Manor, New Testament and Inspired Heart Cartridges to complete these cards.
For this first card, I used paper from my stash, the inside sentiment sticker is from Creative Imaginations and the Cartridges being used are New Testament and Inspired Heart.

Inside

 Front

For this next card I used some Core'dinations Premium Card stock and DCWV 6x6 Everyday Paper Stack. The Cricut Cartridges being used are Nursery Rhyme and French Manor. The Embellishments were from  K & Company, Me & My Big Ideas, and the stamped sentiment I got from Oriental Trading.

Inside

Yipppeeeeee, that's four cartridges down, and only 48 more to go.

Shopping Haul & Some Cards

Okay, I admit it!  A couple of weeks ago, I went to the craft store.  I know, that's no big surprise.  While there I found some really good deals.  You know the kind of deals you can't walk away from or pass up.  So I looked through my coupons and saw that I had one for a percentage off your total purchase, clearance priced items included.  Well you know what happened . . . I bought some stuff.  It seems like a lot but I spent very little and saved a whole bunch.  Check out the video to see what I got (Click Here to view video).

CARDS

My friend had her housewarming this weekend, which gave me the perfect opportunity to use my Wild Card 2 Cricut Cartridge.

This next card is a Birthday one for someone I know.  It gave me a chance to use the Cricut Cartridge Suburbia.  I can't wait to make some more thing using that Cartridge.

Have a blessed day,

Using my Spectrum Noir Markers

I put together this simple card, and wanted to share it with you.  I was able to sit down and use my Spcctrum Noir Markers.  Although I've had these markers for a while, I don't get the time to use them often so my coloring can be hit or miss.  I keep trying though, and actually loved how the coloring on this image came out.  I don't remember where the bling or the ribbon came from because I pulled it from my stash.  The paper used was from different Core'dination Premium Card stock packs.

I purchased the image "Phebe's Prayer" from the website of Fine Arts by Robert Jackson Click Here to get to his website, and see all of his wonderful digital art for sale.

Here is a list of the markers I used to color the image:
Skin Tone:  TN5, TN6, EB4
Hair: BG10, BG9, BG5 (also used White Gelly Roll Pen for accents)
Dress: BP7, BP6, BP4, BP3, BP2
Lips: DR3

Hugs & Kisses Card

Welcome to February!  As you can tell from the previous post, I have been organizing my crafting supplies.  Hopefully, it will help me make better use of my time, since everything will have place, and be easy to find.

Today's project was something I put together while putting away one of the embossing folder's I had gotten on sale at AC Moore.  It's a quick card using the Darice "Heart" Embossing Folder, the Provo Craft Cuttlebug, and Core'dination Black Magic Collection as well as their premium card stock paper packs.  I also got to use for the first time (YEAAAHHHH!!!!) my Purple Cows Pin It Set, that I bought from HSN.  I really like this decorative pin set.  HSN doesn't sell the separate pack of pins (staples) so I will have to go hunting on Amazon or Ebay.  I know I bought it on clearance, so I hope that I will have some luck getting extra pins.
So check out the Video on our YouTube Channel at LeagalbeaglePanda (Click Here) to see how I put together the quick & east card.

Craft Punch Storage & Stamp Storage

It's still early in the new year, and I've been trying to re-organize my craft area.  Let's face it, we all see a deal to good to pass up, and then we usually buy it, pack it away and forget we have the stuff.  Since we're not looking at it, you forget you have it, and then you won't put it to use.  Or, you wind up buying it again.  So to kick off this year right, I figured I'd share with you how I am organizing some of my craft supplies and tools.

CRAFT PUNCH STORAGE
Part of today's post it about storing my craft punches.  I don't have a lot and, the majority was from watching HSN and signing up for auto ship.  I decided to use the Recollection Memory Boxes, and some of the storage boxes from Ikea.  I've also made some tags that I can keep next to my craft desk to pull out for review when working on a project.  That way I know what I have and can locate it quickly to use if it fits the project I'm working on.
Check out the video below to get a quick overview.

STAMP STORAGE:
Stamps are one of those things that can quickly multiply.  You know, they get you as you are standing online in the craft stores.  Those dollars bins should really be outlawed.  Or better yet, you are just looking and you find them on clearance, or at a scrapbook conference/expo where they are selling them cheap.  You can't resist, because it has the one phrase or image in the exact font or design you've wanted.  Now that you have them all, where are you going to put them?
Well I've trolled YouTube and read other blogs. I've gone through several different approaches and have settle on plastic storage bins for the woodblock stamps and binders for the cling or acrylic stamps.  At least for now.
Check out the video below to get an overview on what I use and how they get stored.

I'm working on how to organize my digital stamps, which is mostly comprising of a spreadsheet that can be placed in my binders.  When I have that one figured out I'll let you guys know.

Juice Extractor

I know you say Juice Extractor what does that have to do with crafting?  We're making juice! That's crafty, right?  Anyway, Panda got a Cuisinart Juice Extractor and we decided to make a video showing from the box to drinking juice.  Watch the video below to see how quick & easy it was to setup.  Now we tried to not look at the instructions, but it's not in my nature so some sneak peeks at the manual were needed.

MORE VIDEO'S AHEAD
It the next couple of days we will also be posting video's about storage for paper punches and your stamp collection (wood, foam cling & clear).  So make sure to check back here or check out our YouTube channel (legalbeaglepanda).
